Raised Access Panel Flooring Removal & Stripping

Benefits

Currently most clients who have an existing fully upholstered floor or plan to purchase a new access panel floor, have a very limited option of floorcovering products available to them.

Most access floor panels are designed to last 25 years and the under-structure 50 years. The top surface, carpet for example is not. Most clients would like the opportunity of changing their floor surfaces.

Some examples are:

  • The current floor surface is shabby and difficult to maintain
  • A complete change of décor is planned
  • A change of room function is planned and new under floor services are required
  • A new client has moved into a building and the existing floor surface is unsafe and becomes a health and safety issue

TLL Can Save the Cost of Purchasing New Panels

Often replacement or new panels do not sit comfortably on to the existing under-structure, resulting in noisy, loose and uneven panels that also become unsafe. In all rooms existing panels have been cut to fit room size, often walls have been built over to create individual rooms.

To change all this can be expensive. Using the TLL Stay-Put System all floor panels can be removed from the floor for re-upholstering. Office systems including work stations can stay in their original position by using our jacking system to carefully raise the furniture whilst the floor panels are being changed over.

Donor Panels

We can in most circumstances provide access floor panels for a project whilst a job is getting started.

An average 600mm x 600mm weighs 14.70kg.

1000 sq mtrs (2.777 panels) weigh 14,700kgs (14.70 tonnes).

The average dumping cost will be £1,300.00, plus the cost of removing panels from a site (transport/time).

Apart from the complete and unnecessary dumping of panels, the average cost of buying new 600mm x 600mm access floor panels, even on the lower value scale will be £20.00 per square metre.
